ASHES OF BILLY’s Grunge, Metal, and Punk Fusion
The teenage trio ASHES OF BILLY from Roskilde, Denmark, offer a blend of grunge, metal and punk, drawing inspiration from Danish powerhouses Dizzy Mizz Lizzy, Kashmir, D.A.D and H.E.R.O as well as Seattle’s 90’s grunge scene. Continuing to build on the momentum they created with their first two releases, the young band recently released the brand new EP ‘Obscene’.
Since forming in 2022, the young trio has self-released two EP’s – ‘Playdate’ in 2022 and ‘The Right Place’ in 2023, with their single ‘Shamed’ in rotation on national radio station myRock as well as being featured in Classic Rock Magazine’s ‘Tracks Of The Week’. Furthermore the band has played more than a dozen shows nationwide, including support for acts such as Red Warszawa, Siamese and Psyched Up Janis.
